Introduced during the Frankfurt Motor Show of 1999, the Z8 had a production run from 2000 to 2003. The design took its inspiration from the BMW 507 from the fifties, a popular but rare sports car. The Z8 only came in a 4.9L V8 petrol engine, delivering 400 PS (395bhp) through a manual 6-speed gearbox. BMW Motorsport was responsible for engine, which also featured in the E39 M5. Overall production came to 5,703 cars. This particular car started life from new in 2002, when it was exported to Los Angles, the USA. The car fax records three owners from 2002-2012 before the car was exported to Belgium, where the fourth and last owner acquired it. The car has both American and Belgium registration papers present. The Z8 has a low odometer reading of 34,843 km, this as well as the fact that this car was damage-free is confirmed by the car fax details dating to that time. It comes as no surprise that this car is still in exemplary condition today! BMW dealers on both sides of the Atlantic serviced and maintained the car. This Z8 performs as flawlessly and effortlessly as one would expect, just perfect! It comes with every piece of documentation thinkable; the sale brochure, invoices, stamped service book and owners manual. We believe that this car represents an excellent opportunity to acquire a low mileage top Z8.
