A concourse condition 1959 Ferrari 250GT Pininfarina Coupe Series 1. This car rolled off the production line on the 21st May 1959 and later that year found its way via American Ferrari importer Johnny von Neumann, Hollywood, California to a Mr Charles Voschel. He kept the car until 1984 when it was sold to its second owner. A year later he then sold the car on to the third owner who in turn kept the car until 1989 when it was sold to Switzerland. 29 years later in 2008 we bought the car and sold it to its last owner, a well-known Dutch Ferrari specialist. The car then underwent a three-year restoration process ( 2008-2011), carried out by a renowned Dutch restorer. The overall result of this complete and authentic restoration is a concourse 250 GT. A nice detail emerged during the bare metal treatment of the bodywork. It became clear that the original finish was not navy blue but a light blue. The bodywork is as straight as an arrow and all panel fit together snuggly. The finish and chrome work are as good as new. Mechanically revised to an exacting standard. The whole process has been extensively photographically documented. There is also a printout from Marcel Massini. The car has retained its matching numbers engine. With a traceable history straight from day 1, this is, without doubt, an absolutely fabulous and elegant Ferrari 250PF series 1.
