A truly unique Jaguar XJ-S TWR. Supplied to a client in Amsterdam on the 21st September 1987 by Kimman Jaguar, Haarlem, Holland. This car is an original early example of the TWR version. TWR stands for Tom Walkinshaw Racing, a company and racing team know for its participation in touring car championships. It later became the Jaguar Sports department. The steering wheel and alloys of the early models are recognisable by the TWR stamp. TWR would modify a car to the clients’ specifications. This example has been finished in ‘Solent Blue’ with ‘Magnolia’ leather trim. It has been fitted with the TWR low-drag body kit, TWR 16” Low Drag Speedline rims, TWR suspension kit, TWR brake kit, TWR steering wheel and TWR badges. The cost associated at the time with these types of modification could exceed £ 30,000!
