Exceptionally nice 1948 Triumph 1800 (TR) Roadster. This English sourced Triumph belonged to a Mr. Andrews, a Triumph Owners Club member from 1978 to 1988. This car has remained in a top original condition and has won many concourses in the ‘Best Original Category’. The car was sold in 1988 for £32,500 to an English collector who stored the car in a climate-controlled space. In 1992 the car was exported to Germany. It was given a new coat of paint, reupholstered and a new set of carpets. Mechanically speaking, the car is in a perfect working and driving condition. The aluminum bodywork is a splendid state and has never required any remedial work carried out to it. The body panels are sound and fit together well and the lacquer is in a good condition. It has a new black hood. The original wooden dashboard, sporting many authentic features, is divine! The light tan coloured leather upholstery, the dickey seats and folding rear windbreaker, complete the picture. This is simply a beautifully designed 4-seater roadster!
