The C23 was first introduced in 1931. The car being positioned between the entry and the top models. The C23 has a 3 litre Knight sleeve-valve engine built under license by Avions Voisin. 335 of the Avions Voisin C23 were eventually built. The C23 has the typical Avions Voisin design style influenced by the aviation industry. The minimalistic rear lights, the bars attaching the front bumpers are all there in this special French creation.

This particular example stood still in a collection for a number of years but has remained in good condition. This C23 that first arrived on the roads in 1932 came to the Netherlands in 1999. The car was part of a large Avions Voisin collection that always was kept indoors.

The bodywork is neat with some signs of use. The panelwork is nice and thin with correct alignment. The paintwork also shows some signs of use. The black wire wheels are in a neat state. The engine moves freely and probably only needs nothing more than a jolly good service. The interior trim has been reupholstered in the past and is very tidy. The front seats have leather upholstery whilst the rear bench is covered in light brown cloth material.

This very rare Avions Voisin C23 will not need much attention for you to be able to enjoy motoring only possible in a car with such great French grandeur.
