The Jaguar XJS Coupé is a timelessly beautiful design. We still see them regularly because it was a very popular model from the Jaguar range at the time. What we rarely encounter, however, is a Jaguar XJS Coupé that was delivered new in the Netherlands. This copy comes from the second owner. The first owner bought the car new at Cito Motors in Eindhoven in 1986 and kept the car until 2018. Then the car was sold to the second owner, a Jaguar collector with a large collect. The car has only driven 96,000 demonstrable kilometers and is in beautiful condition. The first owner has put together a very nice car. He ordered the car in this beautiful metallic red exterior color and completed the configuration with an impeccably beautiful beige leather interior. It is a beautiful color combination that fits perfectly with the chic look of the car. It is not only the color combination that makes this car a beautiful example, but also the motorization could not be better. This Jaguar XJS is powered by the 5.3 liter V12 engine, which in this case is coupled to a four-speed automatic transmission.
The body of the Jaguar still looks very nice. The paint has already been repainted for cosmetic reasons and is still in very good condition. The paint does of course have some light traces of use here and there that match the age and mileage. The chrome on the bumpers is also in neat condition, as are the original alloy wheels. The sheet metal on the body is nice and thin and the fits are correct.
The interior is completely original and still in very good condition. It is immediately clear at first glance that this car has had a luxurious life until today, just like a Jaguar. The inside is lined with beautiful and supple beige leather and still looks neatly cared for. The dashboard has wood inlay that is also neatly cared for. Furthermore, some chauvinism cannot be denied to the gentlemen of Cito Motors, because for a Brabant car company there is of course no other option than to mount a Philips car radio. The Jaguar XJS is also extensively equipped with luxury such as climate control, a drill computer, cruise control and of course that fabulous V12 engine.
The technology has always been well maintained and the maintenance history is present with the car. The Jaguar is a typical “Gran Tourer”, this big cat is made to drive through Europe at speed and in comfort. The engine produces 295 hp and is mainly aimed at delivering torque. The chassis effortlessly filters all unevenness from the road surface and gives you a lot of confidence to continue driving the car. The steering feel is very good and it takes no effort to set a convincing course in this stately British tourer.
The car comes with a full board folder and even the old registration documents are kept with the car. In short, not only a rarity, as a Dutch delivered car, but also in the condition in which this car is. An all-rounder with an executioner of a motorcycle!

De Jaguar XJS Coupé is een tijdloos fraai design. We komen ze nog regelmatig tegen omdat het destijds een zeer geliefd model uit het Jaguar gamma was. Wat we echter maar zelden tegenkomen is een Jaguar XJS Coupé die nieuw is geleverd in Nederland. Dit exemplaar is afkomstig van de tweede eigenaar. De eerste eigenaar kocht de auto nieuw bij Cito Motors in Eindhoven in 1986 en hield de auto tot maar liefst 2018 in bezit. Toen is de auto aan de tweede eigenaar verkocht, een Jaguar verzamelaar met een grote collect. De auto heeft nog maar 96.000 aantoonbare kilometers gereden en verkeert in prachtige conditie. De eerste eigenaar heeft een uiterst fraaie auto samengesteld. Hij bestelde de auto in deze prachtige metallic rode exterieurkleur en vulde de configuratie aan met een onberispelijk fraai beige lederen interieur. Het is een prachtige kleurcombinatie die perfect past bij de chique uitstraling van de auto. Het is niet alleen de kleurcombinatie die deze auto tot een prachtig exemplaar maakt maar ook de motorisering kan niet beter. Deze Jaguar XJS wordt namelijk aangedreven door de 5.3 liter V12 motor die in dit geval is gekoppeld aan een automatische transmissie met vier versnellingen.
De carrosserie van de Jaguar ziet er nog steeds zeer fraai uit. De lak is omwille van cosmetische redenen al eens opnieuw gespoten en verkeert nog steeds in zeer goede conditie. De lak heeft vanzelfsprekend wel hier en daar wat lichte sporen van gebruik die passen bij de leeftijd en kilometerstand. Het chroom op de bumpers verkeert eveneens in keurig verzorgde conditie evenals de originele lichtmetalen velgen. Het plaatwerk op de carrosserie is mooi dun en de passingen zijn correct.
Het interieur is volledig origineel en verkeert nog steeds in zeer goede staat. Het is bij de eerste aanblik direct duidelijk dat deze auto tot heden een luxe leven heeft gehad, precies zoals het heurt bij een Jaguar. De binnenzijde is bekleed met fraai en soepel beige leder en ziet er nog steeds keurig verzorgd uit. Het dashboard is voorzien van houtinleg die eveneens keurig verzorgd is. Verder kan enig chauvinisme de heren van Cito Motors niet worden ontzegd want voor een Brabants autobedrijf is er natuurlijk geen andere mogelijkheid dan een Philips autoradio te monteren. De Jaguar XJS is verder uitgebreid van luxe voorzien zoals climate control, een boorcomputer, cruise control en natuurlijk die fabuleuze V12-motor.
De techniek is immer goed onderhouden en de onderhoudshistorie is bij de auto aanwezig. De Jaguar is een typische “Gran Tourer” deze grote kat is er voor gemaakt om op snelheid en in alle comfort door Europa te rijden. De motor levert 295 pk en is vooral gericht op het leveren van koppel. Het onderstel filtert alle oneffenheden moeiteloos uit het wegdek en geeft u veel vertrouwen om lekker met de auto door te rijden. Het stuurgevoel is erg goed en het kost dan ook geen moeite om overtuigend koers te zetten in deze statige Britse tourer.
De auto wordt geleverd met een volledige boordmap en zelfs de oude kentekenbewijzen zijn bij de auto bewaard. Kortom niet alleen een zeldzaamheid, als Nederlands geleverde auto, maar ook in de staat waarin dit exemplaar verkeert. Een alleskunner met een beul van een motor!

Das Jaguar XJS Coupé ist ein zeitlos schönes Design. Wir sehen sie immer noch regelmäßig, weil es damals ein sehr beliebtes Modell aus dem Jaguar-Sortiment war. Was uns jedoch selten begegnet, ist ein Jaguar XJS Coupé, das in den Niederlanden neu ausgeliefert wurde. Dieses Exemplar stammt vom zweiten Besitzer. Der Erstbesitzer kaufte das Auto 1986 neu bei Cito Motors in Eindhoven und behielt das Auto bis 2018. Dann wurde das Auto an den zweiten Besitzer verkauft, einen Jaguar-Sammler mit einer großen Sammlung. Das Auto hat nur 96.000 nachweisbare Kilometer gefahren und ist in einem schönen Zustand. Der Erstbesitzer hat ein sehr schönes Auto zusammengestellt. Er bestellte das Auto in dieser wunderschönen Metallic-Rot-Außenfarbe und vervollständigte die Konfiguration mit einer makellos schönen beigen Lederausstattung. Es ist eine schöne Farbkombination, die perfekt zum schicken Look des Autos passt. Nicht nur die Farbkombination macht dieses Auto zu einem schönen Exemplar, auch die Motorisierung könnte nicht besser sein. Dieser Jaguar XJS wird von dem 5,3-Liter-V12-Motor angetrieben, der in diesem Fall an ein Viergang-Automatikgetriebe gekoppelt ist.
Die Karosserie des Jaguars sieht immer noch sehr schön aus. Der Lack wurde aus kosmetischen Gründen bereits neu lackiert und ist noch in einem sehr guten Zustand. Natürlich hat der Lack hier und da leichte Gebrauchsspuren, die dem Alter und der Laufleistung entsprechen. Das Chrom an den Stoßstangen ist ebenfalls in gepflegtem Zustand, ebenso wie die originalen Leichtmetallfelgen. Das Blech an der Karosserie ist schön dünn und die Passformen sind korrekt.
Die Innenausstattung ist komplett original und noch in sehr gutem Zustand. Es ist sofort auf den ersten Blick klar, dass dieses Auto bis heute ein luxuriöses Leben geführt hat, genau wie ein Jaguar. Die Innenseite ist mit schönem und geschmeidigem beigem Leder ausgekleidet und sieht trotzdem gepflegt aus. Das Armaturenbrett hat Holzeinlagen, die ebenfalls ordentlich gepflegt werden. Darüber hinaus ist den Herren von Cito Motors ein gewisser Chauvinismus nicht abzusprechen, denn für eine Brabanter Autofirma gibt es natürlich keine andere Möglichkeit, als ein Philips-Autoradio einzubauen. Der Jaguar XJS ist auch umfangreich mit Luxus wie Klimaanlage, Bohrcomputer, Tempomat und natürlich diesem fabelhaften V12-Motor ausgestattet.
Die Technik wurde immer gut gewartet und die Wartungshistorie ist beim Auto vorhanden. Der Jaguar ist ein typischer „Gran Tourer“, diese Raubkatze ist dafür geschaffen, schnell und komfortabel durch Europa zu fahren. Der Motor leistet 295 PS und zielt hauptsächlich darauf ab, Drehmoment zu liefern. Das Fahrwerk filtert mühelos alle Unebenheiten aus der Fahrbahnoberfläche und gibt Ihnen viel Vertrauen, um das Auto weiter zu fahren. Das Lenkgefühl ist sehr gut und es bedarf keiner Anstrengung, um in diesem stattlichen britischen Tourer überzeugende Akzente zu setzen.
Das Auto wird mit einer Vollpensionsmappe geliefert und sogar die alten Zulassungsdokumente werden mit dem Auto aufbewahrt. Kurz gesagt, nicht nur eine Rarität, da ein in den Niederlanden ausgeliefertes Auto, sondern auch in dem Zustand, in dem sich dieses Auto befindet. Ein Allrounder mit einem Vollstrecker von einem Motorrad!
