We have a stunning Lancia Fulvia Coupé 1.3S Series 2A. The car was first registered in 1972 and is in great condition. Introduced in 1965 the Fulvia Coupé was designed by Pierro Castagnero. In contrast to many of its competitors at the time, it was front wheel driven. In our case the car also has the rare engine set-up of being a V4. Whilst the engine is denoted as having a V-configuration the angle of the block is only 13 degrees. This allowed for a single cylinder head. The engine produces 90 Ps and takes the Fulvia to an impressive performance level. This engine has been fully and highly professionally overhauled, which becomes self evident when driving the car. The 1.3 V4 sounds great and loves hitting the high rev range. The gear change is achieved by a precisely working dog-leg 5-speed manual. Furthermore the bodywork and interior trim have received very good care. Externally the car has the fantastic “Rosso York” finish complimented on the inside by red carpets and black upholstery. The dashboard, headlining and rims are all in very good shape. The bodywork has nice and thin, correctly aligned panelwork. The engine rebuild can been followed using the accompanying invoices totalling over € 5,800. A workshop manual is also included. Het betreft hier een prachtige Lancia Fulvia Coupé 1.3S Series 2A. De auto werd voor het eerst toegelaten tot het verkeer in 1972 en verkeert in prachtige conditie. De Fulvia coupé werd ontworpen door Pierro Castagnero en kwam in 1965 op de markt. De Fulvia was in tegenstelling tot veel concurrenten in die tijd voorzien van voorwielaandrijving. In dit geval wordt de auto ook nog eens aangedreven door een zeldzame motorconfiguratie, namelijk: de V4-motor. Hoewel de motor ultimo moet worden gezien als een V-configuratie, is de blokhoek beperkt tot slechts 13 graden. Daardoor kan worden volstaan met slechts één cilinderkop. De motor levert 90pk en stelt de Fulvia tot aansprekende prestaties in staat. De motor is al eens volledig gereviseerd. De werkzaamheden zijn destijds zeer grondig uitgevoerd en dat is tijdens het rijden te merken. De 1.3 V4 klinkt fantastische en is dol op het maken van toeren. Schakelen doet u met een precies schakelende handgeschakelde dog-leg transmissie met vijf versnellingen. Daarnaast zijn ook de carrosserie en het interieur zeer goed verzorgd. De buitenzijde is gespoten in het fantastische “Rosso York” en de binnenzijde is bekleed met rode tapijten en zwarte bekleding. Het dashboard, de hemel en de velgen zijn allen zeer goede staat. De carrosserie is voorzien van mooi dun plaatwerk en heeft correcte passingen. De motor revisie is destijds zeer goed bijgehouden middels facturen (ruim € 5.800,-) en worden bij de auto geleverd alsmede een technische handleiding.
