For decades, has built front-engined V12 grand tourers. But a convertible powered by that same magnificent engine? Those have always been a much rarer sight. When Ferrari introduced the 812 GTS, that changed. For the first time in many years, Ferrari once again offered an open-top production model with a naturally aspirated V12 mounted up front. That alone makes the 812 GTS something truly special.

Beneath its long hood lies a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12. No turbochargers, no hybrid assistance—just twelve cylinders producing approximately 800 horsepower, delivering their power exclusively to the rear wheels. Exactly as you would expect from a Ferrari of this caliber.

And then there is the roof. At the touch of a button, the retractable hardtop disappears in approximately fourteen seconds. It can even be operated while driving, provided the speed remains within the prescribed limit. With the roof in place, the 812 GTS is every inch a refined grand tourer. Lower the roof, however, and the entire experience is transformed. That dual personality is precisely what makes the GTS so appealing.

The example we are offering is configured exactly the way we like to see one. Delivered new in Spain and built to full European specifications, it is finished in Rosso Monza, a color that suits the 812 GTS exceptionally well and pairs beautifully with the Tortora leather interior. It is a combination that stands apart from the more familiar configurations without ever becoming excessive. The specification is equally impressive. Naturally, it is equipped with the highly desirable suspension lifter—a feature you will appreciate every time you encounter a speed bump or a steep parking garage entrance. And then there is the carbon fiber.

Personally, we do not believe a Ferrari needs an abundance of exposed carbon on the exterior. After all, you spend your time looking out from behind the wheel rather than admiring the outside while driving. Inside, however, it is a different story. This Ferrari is generously appointed with carbon fiber trim throughout the cabin, making every journey feel just that little bit more special. Exactly where it belongs.

Having covered just 16,000 kilometers from new, this Ferrari has seen very little use. As a result, its condition is best described as virtually as-new. Precisely what you would expect from a Ferrari of this age and mileage. Naturally, servicing has been carried out exclusively by an official Ferrari dealer, and the complete original documentation accompanies the car.

With a Ferrari, it is often the details that make all the difference. The right color. The right options. The right history. And above all, the right specification. When all of those elements come together, there is very little left to explain. This is simply an exceptionally well-configured Ferrari 812 GTS. We have not even mentioned how it drives—but trust us, the experience is absolutely breathtaking.
