Attention originality freaks: we also have other 911s in stock. So, we will now continue for the people who can appreciate a special 911 Turbo with 935 influences. Tuning celebrated its heyday in the 1980s. Gemballa, RUF, Koenig: countless companies that gave their vision of the 911, mostly inspired by Porsche’s successes in motorsport. One of the options was the ‘Flatnose’, or ‘Slantnose’ as some called this variant, where the 911 got folding headlights or lighting that moved to the bumper, as is the case with this 911 3.3 Turbo Evex.

This Turbo dates from 1980 and is an absolute eye-catcher. With its flat nose and twin round headlights in the lower bumper, the coupe is one of those cars that many people will think: ‘What is it exactly?’ To be precise, this is a Porsche 911 Turbo, also known as 930. With the 3.3 liter six-cylinder boxer engine, it is an absolute powerhouse when it comes to performance and power. 300 hp strong and not as civilized as today: the blown six-seater shows with a clenched fist what it is capable of. This was equipped with an EVEX body kit, which ensures the looks of the Porsche 935s from that time.

The exterior of this 911 is therefore very striking. At the front a bumper and flat front that are reminiscent of the 935 racers from that period, because the design does not just fall out of the blue. If we walk past the car to the rear, wide wheel arches, equally wide sills and a large rear wing stand out. Everything about the car screams: I’m not tame. The paint is neat, with a very small trace of use here and there, but nothing that stands out.
The interior is a bit more conventional in that respect, with red-brown leather that can be found almost everywhere. The dashboard, the special center console and of course the normal places such as the seats and door panels. The seats are great, with deep cheeks for the back and the legs also have a lot of lateral support. There is a rally meter in the car for participation in rides and rallies.

The technology, then, is fantastic. The engine has been completely overhauled and has been disassembled down to the last screw, this can also be found in the documentation: photos of this overhaul are available. The rest of the technology is also very good, in that respect it really is a driver’s car that is ready for beautiful, exciting rides.
Numerous invoices are available for the maintenance, which shows that up to and including recent data, the car has always received the care it deserves.

Looking for a unique Porsche 930 turbo? But one that is ready for many spectacular but also carefree kilometers? Then you are in the right place with this very well maintained and technically revised Flatnose.
