What a unique le Mans from 1935. The car has always been treated with care and is therefore still in beautiful completely original condition. The brown paint has traces of use and fits well with the overall look of the car. It is wonderful to see that the wonderfully original look of the car has been so well preserved over the years. The Singer has spent much of her life in a private collection. The interior is also of very good quality. It is therefore a shame to completely restore it.

We also have two engines that are present and delivered separately with the car.

The Le Mans featured a more highly tuned version of the 972cc inline-four, with stronger tappets, a thicker, more angled camshaft and a larger and better-cooled cast aluminium oil sump. Power climbed to 34 hp (25 kW) and the engine was mated to a close-ratio transmission. The frame was dropped behind the front wheels. In addition, the Le Mans had no running boards, an external fuel tank of 12 imperial gallons (55 l) and twin spare tires that completed the competition look and added valuable weight to the rear axle. Unlike the competing MGs, the Singer had more powerful and reliable Lockheed hydraulic brakes.

The windshield can be folded down for just that little bit of extra speed or aerodynamics. When you just go touring on Sunday, the window can of course just go up and if it starts to rain, the wipers can also be turned on. The interior has two chairs and is wonderfully spartan. The instruments are easy to read and all original. It is immediately clear that this is a real sports car. The seats offer a lot of support and are comfortable. The carpets are in good condition and the wood on the dashboard is still well cared for. The seats are upholstered with beautiful beige leather that is in good condition.

Since 1976, the car has had a Dutch registration and has only driven 16,428 kilometres as read from the odometer. The question now is who will continue the fantastic journey of this awesome Singer.
