We have a remarkably authentic Aston Martin DB 2/4 MK3. On the 18th July 1958 it was supplied from new to the London based Portland Cement Manufacturers. This unrestored car is in an amazing authentic condition. It has always had the most excellent care lavished upon it. The fine bodywork has a lovely patina. The recently refurbished interior trim also has an excellent patina, retaining its authenticity. Mechanically speaking the car has always enjoyed the most excellent service and maintenance by a renowned specialist, ensuring the car’s continued trouble-free running order. It naturally has the original ‘Cardinal Grey’ finish with a red Connolly leather interior trim. The MK3 is instantly recognisable by its upright rear light configuration and the revamped grill that today is still the hallmark of the Aston Martin Trademark. The MK3 is the last of 2/4 series with the powerful 2.9 litre straight-six and front disc brakes. The factory supplied overdrive is a nice accessory. It also still has the original, matching numbers, twin S.U. HV6 carburettor engine. The overdrive, finish colour as well as all other numbers are as confirmed on the build sheet. The car also comes with its very first number plate. The MK3 DB 2/4’s had a limited production run and of these there are even fewer still around in this unique and untouched condition. A car is an original only once in its life, this one is absolutely unique and rarely for sale!

Bijzonder originele Aston Martin DB 2/4 Mk3. Deze Aston is nieuw geleverd aan Portland Cement Manufacturers in London op 18 juli 1958. De Aston is nooit gerestaureerd en verkeert dus in een super originele conditie. Wel werd de auto altijd uitstekend onderhouden. De carrosserie is goed, origineel en heeft een mooie patina. Ook het interieur heeft een super patina en heeft recentelijk een complete onderhoudsbeurt gehad waarbij de originaliteit bewaard bleef. Technisch is de auto uitstekend, goed onderhouden door een gerenommeerd specialist en dus ook uitstekend werkend en rijdend. Uiteraard uitgevoerd in haar originele kleurstelling ‘Cardinal Grey’ met een rood Connolly lederen interieur. De Mk3, herkenbaar aan de mooie staande achterlichten en de herziene grille die vandaag de dag nog herkenbaar is als Aston Martin Trademark. De Mk3 is de laatste en beste van de 2/4 reeks en beschikt over een krachtige 2.9 liter 6 in lijn motor en schijfremmen aan de voorzijde. Als extra is deze Aston af-fabriek voorzien van een overdrive. De Aston heeft nog steeds haar matching numbers motor met twin S.U. HV6 carburateurs. Zowel de overdrive als de kleurstelling en alle overige nummers worden bevestigd door de factory buildsheet. De auto heeft nog steeds het originele kentekennummer van dag één. Van de Mk3 DB 2/4 ’s zijn maar weinig exemplaren geproduceerd, waarvan slechts enkele in deze originele ‘onaangeroerde’ en dus unieke conditie verkeren.
