Unbelievable: an originally Dutch-delivered E-Type in Primrose Yellow in incredibly original condition, and partially still in its first paint. Believe it or not, the car did not drive for 45 years, retains all the beautiful and correct details, and this E-Type runs and drives. The engine is matching numbers. The interior is stunningly beautiful, almost never altered, and in very good condition. Just look at the carpets—how beautiful they still are! And what do you think of the color? We often see this on the West Coast, but someone in the Low Countries ordered a color like this? Very impressive.

The exterior has suffered very little over the years. The entire car is largely still in its original paint and looks incredible. It’s unbelievable how beautiful the paint still is. Of course, we see some forms of patina, but that’s exactly what makes this Jaguar so special! At Gallery Aaldering, we believe that original and unspoiled cars have something special.

They haven’t been taken apart and therefore generally feel different. The different parts had time to settle, and that’s a unique experience, especially when a car is nearly 60 years old. This Jaguar E-Type is the perfect example of that. Turn back the clock to around 1972, and this is how a Jaguar E-Type would have looked after seven years of use.

The interior is magnificent. Just look at the original gauges that have never been restored. The upholstery in the trunk is almost impeccable. And what about the beautiful switches on the dashboard? The upholstery is perhaps one of the highlights. We’ve never seen upholstery that’s 60 years old and in such a beautifully patinated and good condition. Of course, there is patina on multiple places, and our photographer has already captured all these details for you in the photos because this Jaguar proudly wears the word ‘patina.’

The engine is matching numbers, and the car runs and drives. For the record: the car absolutely needs a technical inspection due to the long period of inactivity. We wanted to feature this Jaguar and the owner’s wife on television, for our regular broadcast on RTL Autowereld, but unfortunately, she didn’t want to appear on camera. We sincerely hope that this Jaguar remains in the Netherlands to preserve this piece of cultural heritage because this Jaguar is too special for that.
