The Mark X or Mk X (pronounced Mark Ten) is a car by Cars and introduced to the market in 1961. The United States was a significant market for Jaguar, and with that market in mind, the large Mk X, measuring 5.13 meters in length and 1.94 meters in width, was developed. The Mk X debuted in October 1961 with a 245 horsepower 3.8-liter six-cylinder engine. In 1964, Jaguar increased the engine displacement to 4.2 liters, boosting the power to 265 horsepower. This Jaguar Mark Ten Saloon 4.2 Liter, known as “Jaguar’s top-class sedan for a decade from 1961 to 1970,” of which only 5,680 units were produced, has just been added to our collection.
This completely restored and overhauled Jaguar, originally from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and imported and purchased during the 1970 vacation in London by Mr. John Maxwell, presents at a very high standard without compromising factory originality. More recently this Jaguar MK 10 has been maintained in the Netherlands by a well-known Jaguar specialist. The history is largely known and documented with invoices and other documents.
A skilled restoration where no expense was spared to achieve an ultimate result. Adding to its allure is the beautiful grey interior that perfectly complements the deep black exterior colour. At the same time, the entire interior is in excellent condition, with no visible defects or damage. The woodwork has also been expertly varnished, giving it as good as new appearance. The body is impeccably presented, and together with all the chrome, which has been entirely re-chromed, it exudes sophistication. The car sits on the correctly-sized wheels and tires.

The engine bay of this Jaguar is equally impressive. The engine, which was comprehensively addressed in the past, runs smoothly and sounds very clean. The entire engine and the automatic transmission function perfectly, delivering a fantastic driving experience, along with the good suspension and precise steering. It makes the car a true delight to be on the road with. In summary, this Mk X is a top car in exceptionally good condition, complemented by an equally good color scheme.

In conclusion, an excellent opportunity for those seeking a classic car in truly beautiful optical and technical condition.
