This is a beautiful Mercedes-Benz 500SL from the R230 generation. The car was delivered new in 2002 and is still in beautiful condition. The car has only 44,630 kilometres on the clock and is in excellent condition.
The body of the SL is in beautiful condition. The sheet metal is nice and thin and fits well everywhere. The metal hood can of course be opened and closed electrically and functions excellently. The car stands on original Mercedes-Benz wheels with good tires in the correct sizes. The paint is in very good condition with only some minimal traces of use.
The interior is upholstered in beautiful grey leather, which is in new condition, as well as dark-coloured carpets. The dashboard also features beautiful wood inlays. The instruments and controls are all in very good condition and look like new. The SL is also fully equipped. You have access to Bluetooth telephony, a radio with CD player, climate control, cruise control, electrically operated windows, xenon lighting, heated seats with memory and Bose audio. In short, there is no shortage of luxury in this lovely open German Autobahn Gran Tourer.
Nor is speed, by the way. The 500SL is fully expected to be powered by an M113 V8 engine that is, you guessed it, 5 litres in size. The engine delivers a maximum power of 306 hp and an enormous torque of 460 Newton meters at just 2,700 rpm. The engine is mated to a five-speed automatic transmission and is a top fit. The M113 is virtually indestructible and this engine has just been run in with its low mileage. The car is also in exceptionally good condition. The engine pulls like a winch and the automatic transmission shifts wonderfully smoothly without jerking. The chassis is wonderfully comfortable and the brakes are more than well suited to their task.
The car is also beautifully documented. From the time the car was delivered new in 2002 until the car came to the Netherlands in 2018, all receipts have been preserved with the car and the invoices for maintenance are also with the car. This shows that this SL has never been missing and the car is in top condition. Not only a beautiful SL to see but also a pleasure to drive.

Het betreft hier een prachtige Mercedes-Benz 500SL uit de R230-generatie. De auto is nieuw geleverd in 2002 en verkeert nog steeds in prachtige conditie. De auto heeft nog maar 44.630 kilometer op de teller en verkeert in uitmuntende conditie.
De carrosserie van de SL is in prachtige staat verkerend. Het plaatwerk is mooi dun en sluit overal goed aan. De metalen kap is vanzelfsprekend elektrisch te openen en sluiten en functioneert uitstekend. De auto staat op originele Mercedes-Benz wielen die zijn voorzien van goede banden in de correcte maten. De lak is in zeer goede staat verkerend met slechts wat minimale sporen van gebruik.
Het interieur is bekleed met prachtig grijs leder, dat in nieuwstaat verkeert, evenals donker gekleurde tapijten. Het dashboard is verder voorzien van fraaie houtinleg. De instrumenten en bedieningselementen zijn allen in zeer goede staat verkerend en zien er uit als nieuw. De SL is verder van alle gemakken voorzien. Zo heeft u de beschikking over bluetooth telefonie, een radio met cd-speler, climate control, cruise control, elektrisch bedienbare ramen, xenon verlichting, verwarmde stoelen met geheugen en Bose audio. Kortom aan luxe geen gebrek in deze heerlijke open Duitse Autobahn Gran Tourer.
Aan snelheid overigens ook niet. De 500SL wordt namelijk geheel naar verwachting aangedreven door een M113 V8-motor die, u raad het al, 5 liter groot is. De motor levert een maximaal vermogen van 306 pk en een enorm koppel van 460 Newtonmeter bij slechts 2.700 toeren. De motor is gekoppeld aan een automatische transmissie met vijf versnellingen en is top fit. De M113 is vrijwel niet kapot te krijgen en deze motor is met zijn lage kilometerstand net ingelopen. De auto is verder ook in uitzonderlijk goede conditie verkerend. De motor trekt als een lier en de automaat schakelt heerlijk soepel zonder schokken. Het onderstel is heerlijk comfortabel en ook de remmen zijn meer dan prima op hun taak berekend.
De auto is verder prachtig gedocumenteerd. Vanaf de tijd dat de auto nieuw is geleverd tot het moment dat de auto in 2018 naar Nederland kwam, zijn alle bonnen bij de auto bewaard gebleven en zijn ook de facturen van het onderhoud bij de auto. Daaruit blijkt het deze SL nooit aan iets heeft mogen ontbreken en de auto in topstaat verkeert. Niet alleen een prachtige SL om te zien maar ook een genot om in te rijden.

Dies ist ein wunderschöner Mercedes-Benz 500SL der Generation R230. Das Auto wurde neu in 2002 geliefert und ist immer noch in einem schönen Zustand. Das Auto hat nur 44.630 Kilometer auf dem Tacho und ist in ausgezeichnetem Zustand.
Die Karosserie des SL ist in einem schönen Zustand. Das Blech ist schön dünn und passt überall gut. Das Metallverdeck lässt sich natürlich elektrisch öffnen und schließen und funktioniert hervorragend. Das Auto steht auf original Mercedes-Benz Felgen mit guten Reifen in den richtigen Größen. Der Lack ist in sehr gutem Zustand mit nur minimalen Gebrauchsspuren.
Der Innenraum ist mit wunderschönem grauem Leder bezogen, das sich in neuem Zustand befindet, sowie mit dunkelfarbigen Teppichen. Auch das Armaturenbrett ist mit schönen Holzeinlagen versehen. Die Instrumente und Bedienelemente sind alle in sehr gutem Zustand und sehen aus wie neu. Auch der SL ist voll ausgestattet. Sie haben Zugriff auf Bluetooth-Telefonie, ein Radio mit CD-Player, Klimaanlage, Tempomat, elektrisch betriebene Fensterheber, Xenon-Beleuchtung, Sitzheizung mit Speicher und Bose-Audio. Kurz gesagt, an Luxus mangelt es diesem schönen offenen deutschen Autobahn-Gran Tourer nicht.
Geschwindigkeit übrigens auch nicht. Es wird erwartet, dass der 500SL von einem M113 V8-Motor angetrieben wird, der, Sie haben es erraten, 5 Liter groß ist. Der Motor liefert eine Maximalleistung von 306 PS und ein enormes Drehmoment von 460 Newtonmetern bei nur 2.700 U/min. Der Motor ist mit einem Fünfgang-Automatikgetriebe gekoppelt und topfit. Der M113 ist praktisch unzerstörbar und dieser Motor wurde gerade erst eingefahren mit seiner geringen Laufleistung. Das Auto ist auch in einem außergewöhnlich guten Zustand. Der Motor zieht wie eine Winde und das Automatikgetriebe schaltet wunderbar weich ohne zu ruckeln. Das Fahrwerk ist wunderbar komfortabel und die Bremsen sind ihrer Aufgabe mehr als gewachsen.
Das Auto ist auch schön dokumentiert. Von der Neulieferung des Autos in 2002 bis zur Ankunft des Autos in den Niederlanden im Jahr 2018 sind alle Quittungen mit dem Auto aufbewahrt worden und die Rechnungen für die Wartung sind auch mit dem Auto vorhanden. Dies zeigt, dass dieser SL nie gefehlt hat und das Auto in einem Top-Zustand ist. Nicht nur ein schöner SL zum Ansehen, sondern auch ein Vergnügen zu fahren.
